MY FAVOURITE HOTEL ROOM VIEWS

There are three things I do as soon as I check into a hotel room…

  1. Rush over to the window and check out the view
  2. See what the bathroom is like and whether there is an actual bath in it
  3. Sit on the bed and bounce up and down to test out how hard the mattress is

I don’t think I’m alone with my good view obsession (seeing as some hotels pay extra for a ‘sea view’), so I have compiled a list of the best views I’ve had so far!

Club Val D Anfa Hotel, Casablanca

So beautiful and so very loud.  I loved just laying in bed with the curtains open, looking out at this view and listening to the waves crash against the sand.

Casablanca Beach View

art’otel, Budapest

The kind of view that just makes you want to get up each morning and get out into this beautiful city.   I don’t think it’s possible to have a bad view when you stay at the art’otel.  You either have this view… or the Fisherman’s Bastion.

My view in Budapest

InterContinental, Warsaw

The picture just doesn’t do the view of the Palace of Culture and Science justice.   I do believe ‘holy shit’ were the words I uttered when I walked into the bathroom and looked out of the window.  Don’t worry they turn the lights off at midnight!

View of Warsaw

Casa Barca Hotel, Malcesine

I stayed at the wonderful Casa Barca before I had my good camera.  I feel like that gives me the perfect reason to go back and stay again 😉  There was just enough room on our little balcony for a table and two chairs – it was the perfect place to work, read, drink coffee; it was just perfect!
